چکیده
The characterization of a hypersonic impulse facility is performed using variety methods including Pitot probe scans, particle image velocimetry, and schlieren imaging to verify properties such as the velocity, Mach number, wall boundary layer thickness, freestream turbulence intensity levels. experimental results are compared numerical simulations with Ansys Fluent compare design operational conditions. presentation in this manuscript prefaced by description its capabilities. UTSA Ludwieg tube can produce flow number 7.2 ± 0.2 unit Reynolds numbers up 200 × 106 m−1. profiles 203-mm-square test section indicate 152 10 mm square core values ranging from 1% 2%. Schlieren oblique shockwaves on 15° wedge model provided an alternate means verifying number. Particle velocimetry previous molecular tagging showed good agreement data key parameters velocity profiles, thickness.

A method for computing inviscid hypersonic ow over complex conngurations using unstructured meshes is presented. The unstructured grid solver uses an edge{based nite{volume formulation. Fluxes are computed using a ux vector splitting scheme that is capable of representing constant enthalpy solutions. Second{order accuracy in smooth ow regions is obtained by linearly reconstructing the solution,...
متن کاملthe effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends
flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...
